Saratoga Springs, NY- Marie R. Armer, 94, lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday February 24, 2022.

Born in Saratoga Springs, NY, on August 20, 1927, she was the daughter of the late, Dominick and Mary (Santa Barbara) Carusone.

She worked for many years at the New York State Department of Parole retiring in 2009. She was also employed for many years at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

She was an avid gardener who could be often found tending to her flowers. She loved traveling to California, Italy and Hawaii.  In her younger years she loved bowling with her husband Dahl and skiing with her family. Most of all, Marie will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family.

In addition to her parents, Marie is predeceased by her husband, Dahl Armer; her sisters, Celeste Bowser and Elizabeth Connolly; and her brother, Ralph Carusone.

Survivors include, her children, Dale Donohoe (Thomas), Wanda Armer, Keith Armer, Steven Armer (Lisa), Jeffrey Armer, Cynthia Gallagher, Maureen Armer and partner Chris Dahowski, and Laura Ghiglieri (Angelo); her grandchildren, Lisa McDermott, Hilarie Yuckel, Brittney Gallagher, Shawn Armer and Kyle Armer; her two greatgrandchildren, Noah and Rory McDermott; and many nieces and nephews.

Burial will be held in the spring at St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave, Saratoga Springs.  Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 628 N. Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
