Palm Coast, FL- Mario Edward Martin 32 of Saratoga Springs NY and San Francisco CA. passed away on March 6th in Palm Coast FL. While on vacation with family, Mario did not feel well and his misdiagnosed back pain ended up being something more serious after several weeks in critical condition in the hospital where Mario passed away.

Mario was raised in Saratoga Springs and he attended St. Clement's School, Saratoga Springs City Schools and the The Adirondack School of Northeastern NY. At the age of 22 Mario found a love for California after visiting a cousin there, living there traveling back and forth for many years enjoying both coasts. Mario owned his own business "Painting Saratoga" that he started on his own and continued to work at.

Mario was born on August 30,1989 to Dina Jane Gervasio-Martin and William M. Martin.  He has two brothers Dominick M. Martin and Timothy S. VanDusen Jr. all of Saratoga Springs. He has many Uncle Aunts and cousins and a huge amount of friends. He has a cat he left behind named Meow Meow that he loved.

Mario loved almost everyone he met and everyone loved him. He had a special glow of humbleness about him and people that know him always speak of his kindness and sense of humor and how much a gentleman he is. Mario loved live music often traveling near and far to see live concerts of his favorite artists. Mario was a artist himself and enjoyed other people's art as well, he loved hiking, the nature of the out doors and recently discovered an interest in fishing. He sometimes played the guitar and bass guitar. He enjoyed the company of his many friends and two brothers who he was close to. He liked comedy and good books. He enjoyed rummaging through old book shops and finding the gem of coffee shops. He enjoyed working on his car, fixing, tinkering, creating and building things. He loved his family and friends and their happiness was important to him. His free spirit and positive presence is something that touched many lives. Mario is loved so much and will be missed by so many and for many the loss of Mario has changed life forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 4-7pm on Monday March 14, 2022 at the William J. Burke & Sons/ Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Home, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Tuesday March 15, 2022 at the St. Clements Church, 231 Lake Ave. Saratoga Springs.  Mario will be laid to rest at the Greenridge Cemetery Saratoga Springs.

The family asks everyone attending Mario's service to join then at knights of Columbus at 50 Pine Rd. Saratoga Springs following Mario's service on Tuesday.
