Saratoga Springs, NY – Marion (Tete) F. Desidoro, (age 94), a lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Saratoga Hospital.

Born May 9, 1929, on Oak Street in Saratoga Springs, she was the only daughter of the late Gregorio F. and Marion (Pinto) Santos and was a 1947 graduate of Saratoga Springs High School.

She began a long career as a realtor in 1972, primarily with rental properties, having worked with NYRA corporate executives, owners, trainers, jockeys and seasonal employees. She was an associate of former NYS Governor George Pataki and attended his inauguration numerous functions and parties. She remained proud that in 1953, she met Pulitzer Prize author Thornton Wilder at the Ash Grove Inn on Church Street. She was especially proud of always keeping a well-maintained home meticulously attending to her seasonal flower gardens.

In addition to her parents and brother William, she was predeceased by her husband, John R. Desidoro, who died Sept. 29, 2009.

Tete leaves her two sons J. Michael (Jo-Ann) of Westbury, NY and Gregory S. Desidoro of Queensbury, NY; four grandchildren, Mikaela, Alex, Aundraea and Stephanie; three greatgrandchildren, Saedi, Jaxon and, Madison, brother, Alfred (Angie) Santos and niece Cheryl Burns and nephew Gregory Santos.

Funeral services were private.
