Mechanicville, NY - Marion Mastropietro Iacobelli passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2011 at her home after a short illness. Born on March 4, 1912 in Mechanicville, she was a lifelong resident and daughter of the late Pasquale and Carmela Antinella Mastropietro. Mary worked as a machine operator for over 30 year at Barclay Home Products Co. of Cohoes, retiring in 1978. Affectionately known as "Aunt Mary" to everyone, she was always there to offer comfort and spiritual guidance. Marion was a life-long communicant of All Saints on the Hudson (Assumption/St. Paul). In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings, Anthony, Nunzio, Charles, Pasquale Jr., Mary Veltri, Ida Mormile, Florence O'Keefe, Carmela Rospo and Dominica Mastropietro. Survivors include her children, Dolores Iacobelli of Mechanicville and Anthony Iacobelli of Stillwater; several nieces, nephews, great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Reception of the Body and Wake will be Friday, Aug. 5, 2011 at 2:30pm until 4:45pm at All Saints on the Hudson, South(St. Paul), 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 5:00pm at the Church by the Rev. David W. Mickiewicz. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Paul's Cemetery, Mechanicville.
