Saratoga Springs - Marion Josephine Delaney Mclaughlin was born on September 15 , 1919 to Anna Josephine Gorman and Joseph Aloysius Delaney. She marched (in a stroller) with her mother Anna in the women's right to vote suffragette movement in the 1920's, graduated from Valley Stream Central high school in Long Island, Bobby Soxed at the Paramount to Frank Sinatra, worked for the British Intelligence Services in Washington, DC in the 1940's and later at the United Nations in New York City. She married her childhood sweetheart from across the street, Dr. Edward F. McLaughlin on June 20, 1943. The McLaughlin's were four generation members of the Ocean Club in Atlantic Beach, New York. She was a member of the Church of St. Peter's in Saratoga Springs. She passed away at home in her own bed peacefully June 20, 2019 on what was her seventy-sixth wedding anniversary, ironically her beloved sister Eleanor also passed on her wedding anniversary.
She mothered seven children. She joins her Husband, Edward F McLaughlin, MD and her two eldest sons Edward and Patric and her grandson Stephen in heaven. She is survived by her eldest son's spouses Mrs. Linda McLaughlin and Mrs. Cindi McLaughlin , her sons Timothy , Kevin (Robin) her son Brian (Katarina) , her daughter Mary (Stephen Rucinski ) her son Joseph (Joan Andersen ) as well as her grandchildren and their partners Elizabeth (Joshua Jackson) Katherine , Robert (Jennifer) Patric (Anne Paul) Christopher (Katya Petrova) , Sarah-Kate , Kellie (Brendan Werner) Kristy, Ryan ( Joanna) Sean, Benjamin ( Kanako) Matthew (Krystle) Paul, Shannon , Christopher Emily, Madison, Savanna, Joshua (Heather Gates) Melvin, Edward and Anna. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren. Eleanor, Abigail, Maggie, Aidan, Elizabeth, Evelyn, Maya, Amelia, Guy, Shea, Jack, Solomon and Theodore.
She was a staunch Yankees fan and believed everything was better with butter. She loved her family and they loved her right back.

Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8pm on Sunday, June 23, at William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs.
A celebration of Marion's life at a Mass of Christian Burial will be take place at 10am on Monday, June 24, at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, 231 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs by Reverend Edmund Faliskie, C.Ss.R., Pastor.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Marion's family wishes for donations to be made in her memory to the Double H Ranch , 97 Hidden Valley Road, Lake Luzerne, NY 12846. Thank you.
