Greenfield Center, NY – Marion (Marilyn) Weir, 97, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at Wesley Health Care Center. Born on December 3, 1920 in New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Annie Noe.
Marion married Rudolph Weir Jr. and they resided in Windham, New York. Her husband died December 5, 1944 in France during WWII. She was the owner and operator of M.E. Weir Trucking.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marion was predeceased by sons, Lawrence "Butch" Weir of Rensselaer and Edgar "Bud" Seeley of Greenfield Center, daughter-in-law Rita Seeley of Greenfield Center, daughter Cheryelle Eichorst of Connecticut, grandson Joseph Eichorst of Connecticut, and granddaughter Michelle Seeley of Greenfield Center.
Survivors include her significant other James Clark, a son, Rudy (Deb) Weir of Greenfield Center; a daughter, Madeline "Midge" (late Billy) Craft of Glenmont; a daughter-in-law Diane Weir of Rensselaer; her grandchildren Audra (Brad) Puchkoris, Robert (Crystal) Eichorst, Danielle (Milton) Burke, Scott (Danielle) Seeley, Diana (Paul) MacFarland, Maurice "Butch" (Laurie) Levine, Janice (Joe) Siniski, Kimberly (Pete) Landauer, Tracy Amsden, William (Libbie) Craft, Brian (Stacie) Craft, Kevin (Connie) Craft, Melissa Sandgren, Kelly (Paul) Roberts, Lori (Heath) Kinney, many great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.
She will be missed by her faithful dog Joe-Joe.
The family would like to thank the staff of 4 Springs at Wesley Health Care Center for the wonderful care given to Marion.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Maplewood Cemetery.
