Relatives and friends are invite to a funeral service at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at the William J. Burke & Sons/ Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 N. Broadway Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, corner of Louden and Weibel Rd., Saratoga Springs, NY.

Greenfield Center, NY - Mark Benson, a devoted animal lover and sports fan, passed away at 65. Known for his love of his dogs, Rosie and Rusty, and his cat, Cinnamon, he cherished the joy they brought to his life. Mark found family in his dear friend and neighbor of 20 years, Lee Jenison, and his family, who stood by him as his closest companions.

Mark worked for Saratoga County DPW and shared his love of football and baseball with enthusiasm. Mark's unique love and kindness will be cherished by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son Justin whom he loved deeply; siblings Linda Lindsey (Carl), Billy (Judy), Carol, Alice Kilburn (Scott), Debbie, Irene, Ilene, and their extended families. He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Hazel, his partner Juanita, and siblings who have passed before him.

Services will be announced at a later date.
