Saratoga Springs - Marlene A. Oliver of Pyramid Pines, passed away Tuesday (Nov. 4, 2008) at Saratoga Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was 59. Born on Sept. 16, 1949 in Saratoga Springs, NY, she was the daughter of Charlotte (Carleton) Reome and the late Halsey Reome, Sr. A lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs, in addition to her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles J. Oliver, Sr., and two brothers, Gregory and Christopher Reome. In addition to her mother of Saratoga Springs, she is survived by two children, Charles J. Oliver, Jr. and his wife, Rhonda, of Oceanside, CA and Kelley Bayer of Saratoga Springs; three grandchildren, Michael Christopher Oliver, Samuel George Oliver and Karli Madison Bayer; her companion of 15 years, William Hayes; her brothers and sisters, Halsey Reome, Jr., John Reome, Lillian Johnson, Deborah Woodcock, Della Deveneau and Linda Harsha; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7pm Thursday (Nov. 6, 2008) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Friday at the funeral home by the Rev. Neil Draves-Arpaia.
