Saratoga Springs - Mary Ryan Breen, 96 years old, peacefully passed away at Saratoga Hospital on March 1, 2025, surrounded by her sons.

Mary was born on June 25, 1928 to the late William and Rachel Ryan in Schuylerville, New York. She graduated from Schuylerville high school in 1945. In 1958, Mary met Robert Breen, the love of her life, and they married in 1967. After their marriage, they moved to Saratoga Springs. During Mary's life, she had several jobs including a dental assistant for Dr. Leo Roohan and a real estate agent for several companies including Roohan Realty.

Mary attended Saint Clements Catholic Church and volunteered at the annual horse show fundraiser. Mary was also actively involved with Treasures consignment shop, a fundraiser for Saratoga Hospital. Every Election Day Mary was a volunteer, working the polls.

Mary's husband, Robert Breen preceded her in death. Mary is survived by her children, Matthew Breen, Patrick Breen, and Mark Breen (Nicole) all of Saratoga Springs, and Dr. Martin Breen (Katie) of Wilton. Mary is survived also by her two grandchildren, Maddie Breen of Saratoga Springs and Ryan Breen of Wilton; her stepchildren, Carole Quinn (William) and Michael Breen of Saratoga Springs, as well as Carole's children, Stacy, Timothy, Michael and Erin; all of their children, many nephews, nieces and friends. .

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at William J. Burke & Sons / Bussing & Cunniff funeral homes, 628 N. Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY. There will be a funeral home service at 6:00 pm with Father McDonald officiating.
