Menands, NY - Mary "Madeline" Magdalene (McCormack) Dignum, formerly of Park Lane South, passed away Tuesday morning (Jan. 13, 2009) at the Wesley Health Care Center. She was 102. Born on Dec. 25, 1906 in Albany, NY, she was a daughter of the late Michael J. and Anna (Gartner) McCormack. Married to Edward John Dignum in 1937, he passed away on July 18, 1967. She was especially proud of her family and survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and John A. Sisk of Saratoga Springs; five grandchildren, Kathryn (James) Flanders, Daniel, Brendan, Eamon and Courtney Sisk; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9am Friday (Jan. 16, 2009) at St. Joan of Arc Church, 76 Menand Road, by the Rev. John D. Kirwin. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. There are no calling hours. Memorials may be made in her name to Catholic Charities, 142 Regent St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
