Saratoga Springs, NY – Mary Lou Farrell, of Saratoga Springs, passed away Thursday, December 24th at Wesley Health Care Center after a long illness. She was born on September 24, 1947 to the late Tillie and Louis Pietruccia.

Mary Lou was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School and worked for several years in the retail industry. She was an avid homemaker who was proud of her flowers and gardens. Mary Lou loved spending time with her family and friends and was a friend to many.

Mary Lou was the loving wife of Thomas Farrell for 35 years. She is survived by her brother Victor (Gloria) Pietruccia, nieces Audra Pietruccia of Ballston Spa and Vikki (Leo) Gonzalo of Ballston Lake, and nephew Victor Pietruccia, Jr. of Centerview, Missouri.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 30 at 10am at the Historic Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway Saratoga Springs, by the Rev. Thomas H. Chevalier, pastor  Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
