Saratoga Springs, NY - Mary Jane (Caputo) Johns, 98, passed away Sunday (Oct. 25, 2020) at the Home of the Good Shepherd, Church St.

Born on Jan. 2, 1922 in Girard, OH, a daughter of the late Guiseppe and Nellie Corsale Caputo and was a longtime Saratoga Springs resident. Her various employments included working at several area businesses, including the VanRaalte Knitting Mill, Thompson Laundry, Jamesway and Hi-Roc Lanes. Mary was also a member of the Principessa Elena Ladies Auxiliary for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Patrick J. Johns, who died in 2001.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia (Pasquale) D'Addio and Anne Marie Piccolo; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Brendan) Myers, Pat (Jennifer) D'Addio, Jason (Amber) D'Addio, Crystal (Jason) Norton, Steven (Shawna) Fisher and Vincent (Lindsay) Piccolo; thirteen great-grandchildren, Joshua, Elena, Sydney, Adriana, Dominic, Connor, Isabella, London, Chloe, Jack, Payton, Gavin and Griffin and several nieces and nephews.

Mary's family would like to thank the administrators and staff at the Home of the Good Shepherd for their loving care and kindness.

Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 6pm Friday (Oct. 30, 2020) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am, Saturday (Oct. 31) in St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave., by the Very Rev. James Ebert, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave.
