Saratoga Springs, NY - Mary A. Natale passed away peacefully at home, with family in attendance, Saturday Aug. 18, 2012. Mary was born in Shelburne, VT. On Sept. 21, 1916 to William and Ada (Salls) Farrell. She was raised in Schuylerville, NY and resided there until her marriage to the late Frank Natale on March 2,1936. Thereafter ,she lived in Saratoga Springs through out the rest of her days. She especially loved her home and the time she and her family lived in "little Dublin" on the west side of Saratoga. Mary worked as a waitress in several Saratoga restaurants and enjoyed mingling with the patrons and other employees. Mother Goldsmiths was the last and longest of her employment. Mary was an excellent mother and homemaker; her family always came before all else, and her grandchildren were her greatest joy. Those who knew her will remember she always loved a party and having a "good family" time. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Frank Natale; daughter Rosemarie Boucher; two brothers James and Francis Farrell and two sisters Marge Arpei and Kaye Grolley. Mary will be greatly missed by her survivors, sons Anthony (Joanne) Natale of Georgetown MA, Bill (Sandy) Natale of Saratoga Springs; sister-in-law Josephine Natale of Saratoga Springs; her seven grandchildren, Michelle Hill, Lisa (Jerome) Walls, Sheri Loftis, Mary Natale, Renee' (Richard) Ferguson, Becky (Joel) Rosenberger, Laura Natale; twelve great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 8pm Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 638 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am Friday, Aug. 24, 2912 at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave. by the Rev. Neil Draves-Arpaia. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful nurses, aides and volunteers of Hospice, who cared so much for Mary over the last seven months. Also a special thank you to Joe Powers, associated with St. Clements Church, who was so faithful for many years to pray with Mary and share Holy Communion with her.
