Saratoga Springs, NY- Mary (Aprilliano) Rocco, age 97.

Heaven gained a special angel Monday, March 26th, 2018 when our beloved mother peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving children.

She was born Thanksgiving Day, November 27th, 1920 to Carmel (Farone) and Angelo Aprilliano in Elizabeth, New Jersey.  Soon after, the family moved to Saratoga Springs where she grew up and always called home.  She was a 1939 graduate of Saratoga Springs High School.   In 1949 she met the love of her life Louis Rocco, at the old Adelphi Hotel.  They were married in 1952 and enjoyed over 60 years together.

Mama worked for many years at the New York Bargain Store as a salesperson.  The month of August was always spent managing the kitchen in the family business, Rocco's 41 Club, for racing season.  Our mother will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and the love and affection she showered on her children, her grandchild and her great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband, Louis and brothers, John and Charles Aprilliano.

Survivors include her brother, Frank Aprilliano; her son, John Lasher; her daughters, Genevieve (Wayne) Wilson and Marylou (Mark Bouthot) Saxton; granddaughter, Genevieve (Ian) O'Keefe and her two little treasures great grandchildren, Natalie and Ian O'Keefe, Jr.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 4 at 10am at The Church of St. Peter in Saratoga Springs, NY. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
