Troy, NY - Michael Anthony (Peanut) Burnett, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2024 at St. Peter's hospital after a long illness. He was born May 10, 1960 to the late Emma Leaon Burnett.

Michael was self-employed for most of his life as a painter, mason, and carpenter. He had a zest for life and acquired many friends over the years that turned into family. He was a well-known face on Caroline Street, especially at Clancey!

Along with his mother Emma Leaon Burnett, Michael was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Elizabeth Burnett; brothers, Wayne Burnett and Anthony (Tony) Burnett; and many extended family members.

He is survived by his son Sean (Jeannine) Dalton; grandchildren, Noah Anthony, Amiah Charee, Neveah Kathrine; brother Thomas (Barbra) Brewer and sister Tina (John) Kahanca as well as many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Mike had many, many, many friends too numerous to mention who will dearly miss their friend Peanut!

A private viewing was held for the family.

Burial will be at 2pm, June 27 at Maplewood Cemetery, Saratoga Springs.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
