Ballston Spa, NY - Michael Toufic Thomas, 60, passed away Friday February 5, 2021 at his home in Ballston Spa.

Formerly of Malden, Massachusetts, Mike was born April 1, 1960 to the late Albert and Barbara Allen Thomas. He graduated from Malden High School in 1978, where he ran track and sang in the Malden High Choral Art Society. Mike also loved to sing in the Church Choir.

Shortly after graduating high school, Mike joined the United States Navy and served 6 years aboard the USS Sculpin Submarine and the USS Harry E. Yarnell Aircraft carrier. He made Life Scout in the Boys Scouts of America. Mike enjoyed reading, listening to the radio, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his youngest sister Lyn Louise Thomas.

Mike is survived by his wife Jeanne (Blanchard) Thomas of South Glens Falls and former wife and mother of his children, Lori Ford of Springfield, Mass; his six children, Adam Thomas of Greenwich, Timothy Thomas of Ballston Spa, Ami (Jamie) Rudock of Adams Center, Sarah(Jason) Woodrow of Ballston Spa, David (Danielle) Thomas of Stillwater and Abigail Thomas of Saratoga Springs; three siblings, Kate (Andrew) Lucariello of Arkansas, David (Christine) Thomas of Idaho and Christopher Thomas of New Hampshire. Michael was a proud Grandpa to eleven grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Mike also had many nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service with military honors will be held for Mike's immediate family at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 629 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373).
