Saratoga Springs, NY - Mildred Weidner, formerly of Hamilton Street, passed away Thursday (Oct. 21, 2010) at the Wesley Health Care Center, Lawrence St. She was 96. Born on Jan. 14, 1914 in Herron, IL, she had worked as a secretary for Eutectic Corporation in New York City for several years and was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Michael F. Weidner, who died on Dec. 24, 1987. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Laura A. and Jeffrey T. Clark of Saratoga Springs; three granddaughters, Julie Suarez of Schodack, NY, Jill Wooley of Pataskala, OH and Jacquelyn Gilchrist of Ballston Spa; two great-grandchildren, Elena and Emilia Suarez and one niece. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4pm Sunday at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Monday (Oct. 25, 2010) in the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, by the Very Rev. Dominic S. Ingemie, pastor. Burial will follow at 12:30pm at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville.
