Porter Corners, NY - Millicent "Milly" J. Jordan, of Ormsbee Road, passed away Monday (Dec. 28, 2009) at her residence. She was 71. Born on July 21, 1938 in Albany, NY, she was a daughter of the late Clinton and Sophia (Jones) Rowland. She was an avid bowler and was a member of the Friday Night Women's League and the Mr. and Mrs. League for many years. Milly also enjoyed traveling and had a great love for animals, especially birds. She was a longtime active member of the Saratoga Springs PTA and had coached youth softball in the area for several years. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, John E. Jordan; two sons, Deron (Karin) Jordan of West Milford, NJ and LCDR Dean (Melissa) Jordan USCG, San Diego, CA; one daughter, Sonya (Michael Vukovinsky) Jordan of Farmington, CT; 6 grandchildren, Vanessa Springer, Sophia, Allison and Dean J. Jordan, Austin and Brett Anderson; one sister, Shirley P. McElroy of Mount Holly, NJ and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
