Saratoga Springs, NY - Minnie V. Campilango, of Elm Street, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the Wesley Nursing Home, with her loving family by her side. She was 93. Born on July 16, 1918 in Saratoga Springs, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Sessa) Labarck. A life member of Court McLaughlin #422 Catholic Daughters of the Americas and the Principessa Elena Women's Society, she was a lifelong member and communicant of the Church of St. Peter. Minnie loved to cook for family and friends and was well-known for her great meatballs and Italian cookies. She was married for over 61 years to the late James L. Campilango, who died April 12, 2000 and was also predeceased by her parents and her son and daughter-in-law, the late Joseph and Jean (Wray) Campilango. Survivors include her sister, Grace Dubiock; three daughters, Rosemarie Ditch, Marianne (Victor) Altieri and Jamie (Thomas) Kupstas; her grandchildren, J. Scott, Lisa and Brian Campilango, Melissa Resnick, Stephanie Ditch, Jennifer Altieri, Justin Kupstas, Abigail Hollingsworth and Emily Kupstas and six great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Wednesday in the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, by the Rev. Dominic S. Ingemie, pastor. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery, West Avenue. Members of the Catholic Daughters will meet at 6pm Tuesday at the Burke Funeral Home for their services and will also assemble at 11am Wednesday in St. Peter's Church for the Mass.
