Saratoga Springs, NY - Nancy J. Acton peacefully passed to heaven at home on Monday November 22, 2021. She was 70.

Born June 19, 1951 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nancy DeFeo Vecchione. Nancy grew up in Fairfield and graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School and studied at Norwalk Community College. Nancy spent the last 40 years in Saratoga Springs with her family.

Nancy was first and foremost a mother supporting her sons. She enjoyed working at Dorothy Nolan Elementary School where she developed many lasting friendships. Nancy enjoyed traveling with friends and time with her family. She was selfless, loving, and always went out of her way to help others. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the love of her life and their accomplishments brought joy to her life.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years Gary Edward Acton; sons Gary Evan, Kevin and his wife Anne and their children Connor and Julia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at St. Clements Church, 231 Lake Ave.
