Saratoga Springs, NY - Nancy Rose Corsale, passed away on August 6, 2023. She was 96. Born on July 24, 1927, in Rockaway Beach, NY, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary Verdoni.  Nancy married Dennis Joseph Corsale on November 10, 1946. He predeceased her on January 13, 2002.

Nancy was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.  Her cooking and baking were enjoyed by all, and duplicated by none. She was a consummate hostess, welcoming many to her table, especially during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Nancy enjoyed spending winters at her home in Florida and summers at the Saratoga Race Course. She loved traveling near and far with her daughter, volunteering in her daughter's classrooms, gaming at the Racino and Turning Stone, playing BINGO at St. Clements, and attending Sunday dinners at the home of the Bradys.

In addition to her husband, Nancy was also predeceased by her two children, Donna M. Corsale, and Dennis J. Corsale, nephew Eric Peter Corsale, and her dear friend, Jane Johnson.

She is survived by her brother in law Eric Lindau, sisters in law Barbara A. Corsale and Barbara Zecca Corsale, all of Saratoga Springs. Nieces Diane Lindau Esposito, Angela Corsale Brady, Anne Corsale and nephew in law, Joseph Brady and their families; and her special cousin, Tom (Cathy) Yadanza.

Relatives and friends may call from 10am to 11am Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the historic Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am celebrated by the Reverend John D. Kirwin.

Burial will follow at the family plot in St Peter's Cemetery, West Ave.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Nancy in a special way, may make a memorial contribution to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, 733 Third Avenue, New York, NY  10017.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the care Nancy received from the staff at The Home of the Good Shepherd and from her in-home caregivers.
