Corinth, NY - Noal Phillips, 48, died on Sunday, December 3, 2017, with his family by his side at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on Jan. 11, 1969, in Gardner ,Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Helen (Winchell) Jackson and Carl Phillips. Noal was an easygoing gentleman who loved the attention of those around him and enjoyed being outside. Noal had a smile that could brighten any room. He enjoyed music and could always be found rocking and rolling in his chair. He was well loved by his staff and anyone that had the opportunity to interact with him. Noal enjoyed shopping or just sitting in the sun listening to his own voice echo off the Corinth Mountains.
He is survived by his seven siblings, Suzanne (Phillips) Darrah of Gansevoort, NY, Stewart Phillips of Gansevoort, NY, Daryl Phillips of Glens Falls, NY, Cynthia Phillips-Nekos of Stone Ridge, NY, Tracie (Phillips) Malin and her husband Michel Malin, of Peachtree City, GA, Heather (Phillips) Bevins of Hudson Falls, NY, Colleen (Jackson) Ignazio of Newnan GA, and his stepfather Bernard Jackson of Newnan GA. Noal had a large family that consisted of 5 nieces, 6 nephews, 5 cousins, aunts and many great nieces/nephews. Noal's family would like the opportunity to thank Saratoga Bridges for their love and support of Noal for the past 22 years, Glens Falls Hospital for their steadfast pursuit to keep Noal comfortable, and his niece Kristen Bonner for taking an active role in providing advocacy and support during his life.
Relatives and friends may call from 10 to 11am Monday, Dec. 11, 2017 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373). A funeral home service will follow at 11am and burial will be in South Side Cemetery, Town of Moreau.
