Schenectady, NY – Norman B. Wright "Skip" passed away on December 27, 2022, in Schenectady, he was 84 years old. Norman was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Reed) Wright.

Skip grew up in Mineville, NY where he joined the United States Air Force. He was very proud of his service in the military where he refueled aircrafts.  In his early days Skip worked as a roofer and later a cleaner at Niskayuna High School.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved watching the Cowboys and Red sox play.

In addition to his parents Skip is predeceased by his long time loves Janice McHarg and Elizabeth Donahue, both ladies held a very special place in his heart; brothers, Charles "Scrub" Wright, John "Bug" Wright, Ernest "Pike" Wright, Ralph "Roddy" Wright, Vernon "Tot" Wright, Thomas Wright, Raymond "Buzz" Wright, and Robert Wright; sisters, Shirley Allen and Doris "Jean" Podmore.

He is survived by his sons, Norman Wright Jr., Donald Wright, and Eric Wright; daughters, Melinda Seymour (BJ) and Lori Clark (Ken); brothers, James "Bingo" Wright and Roger Wright; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 27, 2023 in the Polaris Pavilion at the Saratoga Spa State Park.

Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes of 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs.
