Middle Grove, NY - Norman C. Millington, entered into the hands of the Lord on Friday (Oct. 2, 2009) at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 71. Born on Sept. 4 ,1938 in Elnora, NY, he was the son of the late James and Olive (Gill) Millington. Norman worked for and retired from the New York State Department of Transportation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, target practicing and hanging out with family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald and Wayne Millington, one sister, Alice (Millington) Williams and several aunts and uncles. Survivors include his loving wife and best friend of 29 years, Carol A.(Abeel) Millington; his loving daughter, Robin (Millington) Matraw and her husband David of Lake Luzerne; two sons, David and Jay LaBreck of Middle Grove as well as Peggy(Millington) Vickery and her husband, Wess, Thomas Millington and his wife Laura and David Millington, all of Ballston Spa; his loving sister, Elsie (Millington) Randall; his uncle, Harry Gill and his wife Marion; five grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 1 to 2pm Friday, Oct. 9, 2009 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373).
