Scotia - Norman L. "Flea" Rudisaile, 82, died on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Saratoga Springs, NY Hospital, he was a resident at the Baptist Home in Scotia, NY. Born on October 20, 1941, in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Gertrude (Williams) and William F. Rudisaile. Norman grew up in Festus, MO and graduated from Festus High School in 1963. He was very active in and supportive of the Festus High School Athletic programs. Upon graduation he became a part of several civic organizations including a lifetime member of the Elks Club, the Twin Cities Clown Organization. He was always involved in the summer fast pitch softball programs and bowled at Thunderbird Lanes for many years until he left the area.
Norman was employed at McDonald-Douglas Aircraft in St. Louis, MO for nearly 15 years before making the move to Saratoga Springs, NY. He started working at the Saratoga Springs Hospital in 1981 where he later retired after over 25 years. Norman was a very caring and giving person and was always appreciated by his friends and family. Norman met his special bride at work, Shirley M. (Izzo) Rudisaile shortly after moving east and they remained a happy couple until her passing in 2005.
Norman is survived by daughters, Susan (Richard) Robinson of Richmond IN and Marcia (Tom) Sandner of Baltimore, MD; sons, Donald Dingmon of Saratoga Springs and Charles (Edna) Dingmon of Richmond, VA; sister, Lynn (Eddie) Gardiner of Singapore; brothers, William H. Rudisaile and George (the late Linda Kay) Rudisaile of Columbia, MO.; nieces, Laura (Bill) Jarvis of Virginia, Sheri (Barry) Beshears of West Virginia, Mia Brooklyn and Ellee Kay Rudisaile of Columbia, MO. He was also blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Norman had a huge extended family which included all the employees of Saratoga Hospital, especially those that did his weekly infusions and were with him in the final days before meeting his Lord.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he is predeceased by sons, Joseph and Stanley Dingmon.

A graveside service will immediately follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, West Avenue, Saratoga Spring, NY, officiated by George Rudisaile.
