Saratoga Springs, NY - Pamela L. Jones of Vichy Drive, passed away peacefully Tuesday (Aug. 10, 2010) at her residence, with family by her side. She was 66. Born on Nov. 1, 1943 in Niskayuna, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph R. and Leta A. Young Michael. A graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School, SUNY at Geneseo College and Russell Sage College, where she received her master's degree. Pam worked as an elementary school librarian at Glencliff School in Niskayuna and recently was a medical receptionist for Dr. Jeanine Prosper, Dr. Pratima Patel (pediatricians) of Clifton Park and had previously worked for Dr. Robert Ruggiero, (ophthalmologist) of Saratoga Springs. A longtime resident of Scotia and Saratoga Springs, she served as Charter President of the Ballston Spa Jaycees. Her interests included crossword puzzles, camping and travel, but nothing was a important to her as her crafts and doing craft shows for the past 25 years. Pam was the devoted wife of Ronald R. Jones for 41 years on July 27, 2010. In addition to her loving husband Ronald, she is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Buckley of Malta, and Kelly (husband Daniel) Houck of Newport News, VA; one son, Kevin R. Jones of Saratoga Springs and three grandchildren, Jesse Fuller, Abigail and Daniel M. Houck. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7pm Sunday (Aug. 15, 2010) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway 584-5373. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville.
