Wilton, NY - Pamela Reed Waring, 56, died Saturday, January 21, 2017 at her home, after a courageous struggle with colon cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family and left this world peacefully and quietly.

Pamela was born in Troy, NY to the late William B. and Vivian S. Reed. She was also predeceased by her step-mother Mary Fitzpatrick Valenti Reed as well as two brothers, Michael Reed and Ralph Valenti.

Pamela graduated from Saratoga Springs High School and SUNY Geneseo. She was a Certified Travel Consultant at Saratoga Circuit Travel and later at Direct Travel in Saratoga and Clifton Park. Pamela loved her career and working with her clients.

She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Waring of Wilton, her brothers Shawn (Roberta) Reed of Saratoga, Mark (Nicole) Valenti of Las Vegas, her sisters-in-law, Sister Gail Waring RSM of Albany, Anne Jurcsak of Ballston Spa, Leigh Lescault of Corinth and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. John Delmonte Jr. MD and the staff of Saratoga Hospital Medical Group - Oncology Hematology, Dr. Robert Mayer MD and the staff of Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, and the staff of Saratoga & Washington Counties Community Hospice for the loving care they gave Pamela.

There will be no calling hours and services will be private at the convenience of the family.
