Patrick was a devoted family man and coached many of his sons Little League and Babe Ruth baseball and YMCA Church league basketball teams over his years in Batavia. After his retirement in 1982, Pasquale and Dorothy moved south to warmer weather. They returned to NY State in 1994 to be closer to their family. Pasquale enjoyed antiquing, woodworking, fishing, playing cards, reading and studying history, his beloved Yankees, and just being with his family. Pasquale is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy, his three sons Michael, Edward and Murray Papero, his daughter Patricia Simons, his five grandchildren Eileen Papero, Elizabeth Ball, Jillian Simons, Mathew Papero, Gina Papero and two great grand children, Zoe Tucholski and Aidan Ball.
