Ft. Edward, NY – Patricia McAvoy Dwyer, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend to all who knew her, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025.

Patty was born in Queens, NY where she resided until moving to Saratoga Springs, NY, during her high school years.   It was there that she met her future husband, George and started a family.

Together, they provided an idyllic childhood for their sons, James and Kevin. The Wilton home get-togethers with friends and family will always be fondly remembered.

Patty is survived by her son, Kevin and his wife, Nancy; brother, Kevin and wife, Carol; grandchildren, Matthew and Mark; great-grandchildren, Isla; daughter-in-law, Karen Humphrey; as well as all of her cherished nieces and nephews in the McCarty, Pehl, and Dwyer families.

She is predeceased by her husband, George; son, James; brother, Richard and sister, Dorothy as well as her dear friend, Bill Read who, along with his wonderful family, was a great part of her life.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
