Ballston Spa, NY - Patricia R Forbes, 76, of 75 Eastern Avenue, Ballston Spa, NY, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. The daughter of the late Carol and Agnes Forbes, she was born on June 28, 1945 in Brownsville, TX, along with her twin sister Maureen. Patricia grew up in the Bedford Park Section of the Bronx in New York City and attended Saint Philip Neri Parochial School as well as Mount Saint Ursula Academy in the Bronx. She went to Saint Rose College in Albany, New York and was employed by the State of New York from 1967 to 2001.

Patricia was active first in Saint Clement's Parish in Saratoga Springs, NY, then at Corpus Christi Parish in Round Lake, NY. She was also a volunteer for Birthright in Ballston Spa, NY for a time and was active in the Cursillo Movement in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany.

A son, Michael Pidgeon of Ballston Spa, New York survives her. Her first husband, Lawrence Pidgeon, and her second husband, James Shannon, both predeceased her as well as her parents.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11:00AM at Saint Clement's Church, 231 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY by the Reverend James Ebert, Pastor of Saint Clement's Church. Burial will follow at Saint Peter's Cemetery, 150 West Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for Mass Intentions instead.
