Middle Grove Patricia C. Gerke died Friday June 19, 2009 at Saratoga Hospital. She was 76. Born December 15, 1932 in Saratoga Springs, she is the daughter of the late Frank and Laura Clark Holmwood. On August 16, 1952, Pat married Donald Gerke, who survives. Pat loved to stay home to take care of her family. She also worked as a Photo Technician at Color Labs in Saratoga Springs. Pat was a communicant of Bethesda Episcopal Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one sister; Christine Sommers and one brother; Richard Holmwood. In addition to her husband of 56 years, Pat is survived by one daughter; Laurie LaBarge and her husband Michael of Middle Grove, five sisters; Sydney Holmwood and her husband Richard Hofmann of Middle Grove, Carolyn Saxton and her husband Charles of Gansevoort, Hazel Mahar and her husband Lawrence of Middle Grove, Jeanne Cole of Round Lake, Sondra Foley of Saratoga Springs, one brother; Arthur Holmwood and his wife Caroline of Greenfield, one grandson; Robert Williams and his wife Letitia of Middle Grove, three great grandchildren; Jessica, Joshua and Jake Slater and many nieces and nephews.
