SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY- Mrs. Patricia Carol Gould (née Gibbs), age 86, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025 in Saratoga Springs, NY, she was the oldest of two children born to the late George and Elizabeth (Phillips) Gibbs.

Born on July 25, 1939, in Queens, New York, Patricia (Pat) was the daughter of a close-knit family and grew up with a strong sense of faith and service that would guide her throughout her life. She was married to her beloved husband Tom for 61 years until his passing in 2022. Together they built a life centered around love, family, and community.

A devoted mother of five, Pat is lovingly remembered by her children: Thomas (Stephania), Stephanie (James), Jennifer, Kathleen (Tim), and Christopher (Joelle). Her legacy continues through her eleven grandchildren—Thomas and Joseph Gould; James, Emily, and Catherine Dolan; Elizabeth Gould; Jessica Wutzer; Andrew and Elizabeth Maguire; Avery and Seth Gould—and four great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

Pat is also survived by her brother Bryan Gibbs and his wife Carolyn, as well as her sister-in-law Kathleen Weir (Kate). Her extended family remained an important part of her life, offering support and companionship through the years.

A devout Catholic, Pat dedicated much of her time to serving others through her work at St. Peter's Community Outreach office. She also provided pre-Cana guidance to engaged couples preparing for marriage—a role she cherished deeply as it allowed her to share wisdom drawn from her own long and loving union.

In addition, Pat spent approximately 20 years working as an executive secretary for both the Schenectady and Saratoga County Court offices.

Pat found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an accomplished gourmet cook who delighted in preparing meals for family gatherings. Her love of bird watching reflected a quiet appreciation for nature's beauty. Volunteering was not just a pastime but a calling—her way of giving back to the community that meant so much to her.

Her unwavering faith, generous spirit, and deep devotion to family leave an enduring mark on all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and inspiration to those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be held on November 20, 2025, from 11am-12noon at The Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12noon.

Burial will be private.
