Greenfield Center, NY - Patricia May McGrath entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 28, 2012. She was 86. Born on January 29, 1926 in Saratoga Springs, NY, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Beatrice (Vibbard) Menshausen. Patricia worked for Van Raalte Knitting Mill in Saratoga Springs before becoming a homemaker. She was married to the late Gordon McGrath and raised their son along with many other children, including Michele Simpson and Scott Wardell. Patricia was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Rock City Falls. In addition to her son Gordon (Joan) McGrath of Greenfield Center; great niece Michele (Rick) Simpson of Ballston Spa and great nephew, Scott (Penny) Wardell of Cohoes, Patricia is survived by two grandsons, Gordon, Jr. and Gerald McGrath; great-great niece and nephew, Danielle and Patrick Gordon; two great- grandchildren, Morgan and Noah McGrath; niece, Cassandra Pieteyk and several other nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7pm Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Monday, July 2, 2012 at St. Joseph's Church, 3159 Route 9N, Greenfield Center. Burial will follow in the family plot at Middle Grove Cemetery.
