Mechanicville, NY - Patricia Frances Palmer, 94, entered into eternal life on Friday July 2, 2021 at the Wesley Health Care Center with her family by her side.

Born March 9, 1927 in Mechanicville, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Cecelia M. Baker DeCelle.

Patricia was a 1944 graduate of Mechanicville High School. She was a lifelong communicant of the All Saints on the Hudson, where she taught Sunday school many years ago. Patricia was a member of a bowling league, spent many years volunteering at the Mechanicville-Stillwater Little League, where she enjoyed watching her son and grandsons play baseball. Patricia loved babysitting many children through the years. An avid New York Yankees fan, Patricia would stay up all hours of the night watching their games, even on their west coast trips.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Peter J. Palmer; her three brothers, Alfred R., William P. and Frederick R. DeCelle, Sr. and four sisters, Mary M. Patregnani, Cecelia M. Coreno, Shirley A. Anuszewski, and Catherine M. "Mooie" Schell.

Patricia loved her family most of all. She is survived by her son John J. Palmer (Barbara Travis); her three grandchildren, Trisha (Marco) Alpy, John (Brittany) Palmer and Zachary (Tiffany) Palmer; her great-grandchildren, Lexi, Mia, Kylee, Marco, Ava, Emma, Vivienne, Evangeline and Everett; five sisters, Beverly Gooley, Madeline DeCelle, Elizabeth Neese, Carol (Frank) Volpe, Gail Phillips and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Monday, July 12, 2021 at All Saints on the Hudson South Church (St. Paul's), 121 North Main Street.

Burial will follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville.
