Ballston Spa Patricia Welden died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009 at Saratoga Hospital. She was 70. Born on May 13, 1938 in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Jean Southern Camarro. Patricia worked as a salesperson at Van Raalte Knitting Mills. She volunteered at 4-H, the office of the aging and Wood Road Elementary School. Patricia loved to knit, sew and quilt. She was a past communicant of the Church of St. Peter. Her grandchildren were the love of her life. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers James, Charles and Vincent Camarro and a sister Elizabeth Waddell. Survivors include her husband, George Welden; one daughter, Deborah Mason and her husband William of Saratoga Springs; one sister, Jean Ford of Wilton; one brother, Dennis Camarro of Malta; two grandchildren, Heather Jean and William Welden Mason; a special nephew, Kristofer Camarro; sister and brother-in-laws, including Mary King, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. Relatives and friends may call from 6-8 pm on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2008 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). A funeral service will be held 10am Friday, Jan. 16, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the family plot at St. Peters Cemetery, West Ave. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association of NE New York, 155 Washington Ave., Suite 210, Albany, NY 12210 or the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211.
