IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul
Kellerhouse
April 9, 1954 – February 18, 2022
Saratoga Springs - Paul Kellerhouse was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend. He passed away peacefully on Friday, February 18, 2022 at age 67. Paul was surrounded by loving family and friends for his final days.
Paul was born on April 9, 1954 to the late Leslie and Shirley Kellerhouse. Paul always had fond memories of growing up in Fonda, NY, and graduated from Fonda-Fultonville High School in 1972. Paul then went on to SUNY Plattsburgh and graduated in 1976. After graduating college, Paul made a life full of family and friends when he moved to Saratoga Springs, NY in 1980. In Saratoga, Paul started his career working at Minogue's Beverage Center. Paul was well known as "Party Planner Paul" in the community when he opened the Party Planner in downtown Saratoga in 1987. Paul was a dedicated member of the Ballston Spa Lions Club. Paul then went on to work for Stewart's Shops and loved his Stewart's family. After retirement, Paul dedicated his days to spending time with his family and driving school buses for Ballston Spa Schools.
Paul loved his community and could always be found walking around downtown Saratoga. Paul greeted everyone with a smile and always had a corny dad joke to share. He could not go five minutes on the street or in the grocery store without bumping into someone he knew. Paul also wrote a daily stock car racing column for the Saratogian in the late 1980s and into the 1990s. Every Friday, he could be found at the Albany-Saratoga Speedway with friends and his two daughters. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He attended many NASCAR races and never missed a year with his friends at Watkins' Glen where he would enjoy camping and getting into Pit Road every year by "looking like he was supposed to be there."
In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his nephew Brad Moskal. He is survived by his two daughters, Ashley Fogarty (Patrick) and Leah Vasquez (Jesse); granddaughter Isabella Cornwell; sisters Diane Tew (Billy) and Sandi Walsh (Mark); his niece, Amanda Beaver, and nephew, Nicholas Furnia.
The family wishes to give special thanks to all staff at Embury Apartments and Wesley Health Care Center, Fresenius Dialysis Center and Community Hospice for the dignified care, kindness and compassion shown to Paul.
