Saratoga Springs, NY Paul Stuart Nielsen, of Stable Lane, passed away suddenly on Sunday (Feb. 22, 2009), while vacationing with his family in St. Maarten. He was 46. Born on Feb. 23, 1962 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of the late Paul and Marilyn (Rituno) Nielsen, a 1980 graduate of Saratoga Central Catholic High School (formerly) St. Peters Academy and Hudson Valley Community College. He was an employee of Kay Bee Toy Store, Senior Vice-president at Marvel Entertainment in New York City and President of Clever Innovations. Paul achieved many professional successes as an international toy inventor and entrepreneur and holds the copyrights to several high profile creations. He will be greatly missed by all for his overwhelming generosity, his comedic personality, perpetual pranks and his grand love of life. His greatest joy was his soul mate, best friend and wife, Gwen Nielsen. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Frances and Leonard Rituno and paternal grandparents, Esther and Paul Nielsen. In addition to his wife, survivors include four daughters, Samantha and Taylor Nielsen and Nicole and Taylor Moffre; his Aunt Gail Anderson and Uncle Don Ely; his cousins (more like sisters) Kristie Roohan and Michele Anderson Morrissey; his father-in-law Lou DelSignore and his mother-in-law, Patricia DelSignore; his nieces and nephews, Kristina, Kathryn and Mark Johnson, Zachary Wood, Zoe and Samuel Morrissey and countless friends whom he considered family. Relatives and friends may call from 1 to 5pm Sunday afternoon (Mar. 1, 2009) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Monday in the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, by the Rev. Father Neil Draves-Arpaia. Burial will follow in St. Peters Cemetery, West Ave. Memorials may be made to the Paul S.
