Mass of Christian Burial for Paula DeGearo (Available approcimately 10:45am)

Saratoga Springs, NY – Paula A. DeGearo, formally of the Stonequest Apartments in Saratoga Springs, NY, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at Albany Medical Center. She was 71.

Born on February 2, 1949 in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Paul J. and Anna T. DeBitetto DeGearo. Paula graduated from Saratoga Springs High School in 1967. She worked for the State of New York in Albany, the cosmetics department at Jamesway in Saratoga Springs, the Gideon Putnam Hotel in Saratoga Springs and owned and operated the Wing Street Deli in Glens Falls.

She served as a member of the Resident Council at Stonequest Apartments and volunteered services for several local organizations and programs, including the Saratoga County Senior Citizens Center, Catholic Charities and Meals on Wheels America.

Paula is survived by her brother Joseph and his wife Carol of Milton, sister Margaret Senecal and her husband Mark of Gansevoort; her uncle Pat DeBitetto of Stoney Brook; and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in the historic Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway and will be live streamed on the William J. Burke & Sons Facebook page.

Burial will follow at the family plot in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave.
