Ballston Spa, NY Peggy L. Smith, 63, passed away peacefully at her residence on Dec. 26, 2011. Born on April 6, 1948 in Saratoga Springs, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Hazel (Garnsey) Benson and was predeceased by her husband, John in 2003. She enjoyed animals and shared her home with her dog, Scooter, three cats and her cockatiel. She also enjoyed traveling the roads on weekends at garage sales. Survivors include her sisters; Linda (Bernard) Lindsay, Eileen Gilkey, Irene Dyman, Alice (Scott) Kilburn, Debbie (Peter) Benson and Carol Benson; her brothers, William (Judy) Benson, John and Mark Benson; nieces, nephews and close friends, Pat Haskel, Sue Doyle, Carl Tucker and Richard Bilinski. At her request, there are no calling hours and spring burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery at the familys convenience. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J.
