Saratoga Springs, NY - Peter Charles Parry passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2009 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He was 65. Born on Dec. 10, 1943 in Pensacola, FL he was the son of the late Harold and Margery Ragotzkie Parry. He was a graduate from Philip Schuyler High School, having studied to be an electrician. Peter had seven Master Electrician licenses and owned and operated PC Parry Electric in Saratoga Springs. His greatest love was his family and spending time with his grandchildren and working at the job he loved. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a granddaughter Lauren Leigh Parry. Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Marilyn Anderson Parry of Saratoga Springs; his favorite daughter, Tracy (Gordon) Hogben of Saratoga Springs; his favorite son, Jeffrey (Kim) Parry of Loudonville; a sister, Penny Parry of Slingerlands and his grandchildren, Michael Parry who is serving in Iraq, Tarah LaFalce, Taylor Parry, Tiffany, Gordon Jr., Trinity, Harrison and Griffin Hogben. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. The family would like to thank Peter's dear friend and doctor, Hal Card, who gave him 20 more wonderful years of life. Sincere gratitude goes to Dr. Nicholas Kondo, Jamie Wilson and the rest of the ICCU staff at Saratoga Hospital, who cared not only for Peter but his family too.
