Saratoga Springs, NY - Phyllis Maranda passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at her residence, following a long illness and with her family by her side. She was 73.

Born on August 2, 1942 in Mansfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Susie Snell Fish, Sr. Phyllis was a very loving mother and treasured spending time with her family and pets. She enjoyed the great outdoors, taking walks in the park and traveling to the south.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis is predeceased by her loving husband, Paul Maranda; one brother, Edgar Fish, Jr.; two sisters, Betty Salter and Beverly Mitchell and her step-mother Helen Fish.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane Johnson and son, Paul Maranda, both of Saratoga Springs; two sisters, Sharleen Shoff and her husband Tom of Willliamsport, PA and Janice Paris and her husband Glen of Mansfield, PA; two brothers, Myron Fish and his wife Jeanne of Three Spring, PA and Gary Fish and his wife Connie of Mansfield, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friend may call from 12 noon to 1pm Monday (Mar. 21, 2016) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373), followed by the funeral home service at 1pm.

Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave.
