Ballston Spa, NY - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Ramos LeMay Smith, who left this world far too soon on January 30, 2025 at just seven years old. Born on October 24, 2017, Ramos was the youngest of 15 children, a cherished son, brother, and a light in the lives of all who knew him.

Ramos fought bravely every day of his life, showing a strength and resilience beyond his years. His bright spirit, soft smiles, and boundless love brought joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He had a deep love for music, it brought him comfort, joy, and a sense of peace. Whether he was listening to his favorite songs or simply feeling the rhythm, music was a special part of his world, filling his days with melody and happiness. He also loved the pool at school, where he felt free and happy in the water. Some of his favorite simple joys were head rubs that helped him relax and feeling cozy in his favorite socks. Small things that brought him so much comfort.

Ramos was the beloved son of Maureen Smith-Boxley and the deeply loved brother of Jordan, Madalayne, Jaxon, Estela, Quintan, Izaias, Sheadan, Mikellyn, Kiara, Gracynn, Zoey, Estee, Eliot, and Beyer Smith. As the youngest in a big, loving family, he was surrounded by siblings who adored him, his beloved Aunt Becky, and many cousins who filled his days with love.

Throughout his journey, Ramos was cared for by the compassionate and dedicated medical team at Albany Medical Center. Our family extends our deepest gratitude to his doctors, nurses, and caregivers, especially his pediatrician, Dr. Rebecca Butterfield, whose unwavering support and kindness meant the world to us.

Though his time with us was far too short, Ramos' impact was immeasurable. He was a light in our lives, and his love will remain in our hearts forever. While we grieve his loss, we also celebrate the beautiful soul he was and the love he gave so freely.

A service to honor Ramos' life will be held at the family home on Monday, February 17th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, where family and friends are invited to come together in remembrance and love.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the family to help give Ramos the farewell he deserves.

Rest peacefully, sweet Ramos. You will always be loved, always be remembered, and always be in our hearts.
