Gansevoort, NY - Ransford "Randy" L. Collins, IV, of Maya Drive, passed away Monday May 24, 2010 at Sunnyview Rehab. in Schenectady. He was 43. Born on May 9, 1967 in New London, CT, he was the son of Mary C. Wybraniec Collins and the late Ransford L. Collins, III. A graduate of Saratoga Springs High School Class of 1985, he attended Utica College for two years and then studied at Syracuse University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in engineering. Randy worked as a nuclear engineer for the Connecticut Pipe Trade Local 777 in Meridan, CT. He was a proud member of the Southern Paquot Tribal Nation of Waterford, Conn., and loved all water sports. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Danielle and Andrew Collins, both of Malta; two brothers, Alfred Anthony Collins of Canton, NY and Nicholas Collins, his wife Michelle and their children, Christina and Kyle, all of Galway; his grandfather, Richard Perkins of Waterford, CT and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends may call from 10 to noon Friday May 28, 2010 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway 584-5373, Saratoga Springs.
