Porter Corners, NY - Raymond G. Jobes, Jr., 50, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, August 3, 2013. Born in Wanaque, NJ, he resided in Porter Corners for the past seventeen years. He was a graduate of Montclair State College and a United States Army veteran. Ray was an avid outdoorsman and was a member of the Adirondack Sportsman Alliance. He is survived by his beloved wife Monika and son Zachary; his beloved parents Raymond and Sherrie Jobes of Wanaque, NJ; his beloved brothers, Cris of Palmyra, VA, and Craig of Porter Corners, NY; two nephews and four nieces. Relatives and friends may call from 4pm to 7pm Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs. Funeral services will follow at 7pm at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at 11am Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Rd., Schuylerville.
