Saratoga Springs, NY – Raymond Joseph Lukomski, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Saratoga Hospital.

Born March 30, 1960 in Heidelberg, Germany, he was the son of the late Joseph and Gertrude Holzer Lukomski. Survivors include his sisters Julie (Eric) Leskovec of South Glens Falls, Helene (Michael) Patterson of Schuylerville; brothers Richard Lukomski of Brooklyn and Robert (Kathy) Lukomski of New Paltz and several nieces and nephews.

Raymond was always on the go. He loved to travel and was a real thrill seeker at heart. He loved rides including roller coasters, airplanes, helicopters, hot air balloons and boat rides on Lake George. Raymond also enjoyed drinking ice coffee and collecting ball caps and sunglasses.

He had a great support system thru Saratoga Bridges and AIM Services. He was always encouraged to reach his potential and live life to the fullest. The family is very thankful for all the services that Raymond was fortunate enough to receive from them.

Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 7pm Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373).

A funeral service will be conducted at 10am Friday, May 18, at the funeral home and all are invite to join the family after for a brief gathering at the Holiday Inn, Broadway. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the "Ray of Sunshine Fund" c/o AIM Services, Inc., 4227 Route 50, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in Raymond's honor to benefit those with developmental challenges with recreational activities in the community or to Saratoga Bridges, 16 Saratoga Bridges Blvd., Ballston Spa, NY 12020 Att: Kim Fowler for the "Ray Get Out and Go" fund.
