Saratoga Springs, NY - Rebecca L. Schuyler, of Vista Drive, died Saturday morning (June 19, 2010) at her residence after a long illness. She was 51. Born on April 28, 1959 in Danbury, CT, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Josephine (Germinaro) Yarrish. After being raised in Connecticut and living there for 35 years, Becky moved to Saratoga Springs where she has resided for the past 16 years. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Ellesmere Numismatics and for the past several years held the same position at Duval Vending in Saratoga Springs. She loved socializing with family and friends, playing with her cats, taking vacations to ocean destinations, going to the horse races in the summer and regularly attended functions to raise funds for cancer research. A person of most generous spirit, her empathy and loyalty of friendship were one of life's pleasures. Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Philip Schuyler, whom she married on April 27, 1991; one brother, Louis Yarrish of Ridgefield, CT; three sisters, Roberta Pavlinsky of Waterbury, CT, Wendy Holomakoff of Bethel, CT and Doreen Pennella of Thomaston, CT; several nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 6pm Tuesday (June 22, 2010) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway 584-5373.
