Ballston Lake, NY - On Thursday, June 1, 2023, Richard 'Ric' Jesmain, Jr. was called home at the age of 53.  After a long battle with cancer, the world has lost a great son, husband, father, and neighbor.

Richard was born in Niskayuna, New York, on September 24, 1969. His family lived in Schenectady, NY and later moved to Greenfield Center, NY. Richard attended Saratoga Springs High School where he pursued a math/science major. He went on to study architecture at Syracuse University. He left school to play minor league baseball with the Phillies.

He started working in the automotive industry in high school and continued throughout his career. He was an avid Yankee fan. He loved singing, home design, landscaping, cooking, entertaining, cars, horse racing, and traveling. Mostly, he loved being with his friends and family.

Ric is survived by his father, Richard Jesmain, Sr.; wife, Cindy Jesmain; daughter, Giovanna Crafton; son-in-law, Bill; grandchildren, Billy, Nick, Bella, and Mia and many friends.

He is predeceased by his mother, Cathleen Robichaud-Jesmain.

Please join us for services on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at St. Clements Church, 231 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY.  Calling hours will be from 12-1 pm followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. He will be laid to rest at St. Peter's Cemetery, 150 West Ave., Saratoga Springs.
