Milton, NY - Richard Thomas Leahey passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 23, 2019.

He was born in Brisbane, Australia. After moving to the United States Richard graduated from Colonie Central High School and served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.  He had a career as a technical engineer with Hewlett Packard, was an avid photographer, fisherman and a very caring family man. He married Susan M. Gadus of Schenectady NY.

He is survived by his daughters Debora Leahey and Kimberly Leahey, both of Ballston Spa, NY and his grandsons; Tyler Richard, Kala'i Joseph and Keaka Rizal.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 10am at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. Burial with military honors will follow at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at noon.
