Corinth, NY - Lieutenant Commander, Retired, Richard "Dick" Schneider, USN, 77, of Corinth, passed away on November 16, 2018.

Dick was born in St. Joseph, Minnesota on December 5, 1940 to Herman "Bootie" and Rose Marion "Mac" (Loso) Schneider. After high school he entered the US Navy. He married Donna M. (Jolly) on May 1, 1965 in St. Joseph, MN. Dick served our country for 25 years and retired Lt. Commander USN in 1984. He then became Building Inspector for Greenfield Center focusing his engineering skills in overseeing building construction and installation of wood flooring.

Dick is survived by his daughter, Cinda Schneider and wife, Donna. He was predeceased by his parents.

Relatives and friends may call from 10:30am to 12:30pm on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373).

Funeral services will follow at 12:30pm and burial with military honors will be at 1:30pm at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Rd., Schuylerville.
