Saratoga Springs, NY Rita V. Clechenko died peacefully, of cancer, on Thursday, March 29, 2012, surrounded by family. She is survived by her children, Peter Clechenko, David Clechenko , Carol Hulett and their spouses. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Her husband Kurt Clechenko is pre-deceased. Following Ritas wishes, there will be no service. Both Rita and Kurt served proudly in the armed forces during WWll: Rita as a Marine and Kurt in the Coast Guard. Their ashes will be interred together in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. A gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate their lives. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Job well done Marine......Semper Fi.
